Alison has been practising as a Chartered Physiotherapist for over 30 years. She gained a Post graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation for West of England University in 2001.
She gained considerable experience treating a diversity of conditions in NHS, GP practice, private hospital, private practice and sporting environments. This invaluable experience culminated in her establishing GX Physio and Sports Injury Clinic in 2004. She worked independently in the clinic until 2010 when Susan, Sneha and Sarah joined her.
Alison continues to strive for clinical excellence, updating skills as practices change. She has developed a special interest in treating patients with chronic pain, longer term and complex issues particularly affecting the spine. She uses acupuncture and clinical pilates, as well as specific progressive exercises tailored to each individual’s needs, to assist the rehabilitation and management of these conditions.
Alison is a member of Physiofirst and AACP
